After Your Initial Inquiry
I get it: Life is busy...but you shouldn't have to wait a week to hear back from your photographer, which is why I'll send you a follow-up email within 48 hours upon receiving your inquiry.
I'll answer any questions you may have so that you can understand how I can best help you. I'll also schedule a consultation call so that we can get to know each other and see if we're a good fit.
Planning & Collaboration
Once you decide to book with me, I'll start planning your photography experience. I want you to feel comfortable coming to me with your ideas knowing that I've got the expertise and knowledge needed to help you bring your dream to life.
During the planning process, I'll customize my approach to meet your needs, because you shouldn't have to stress about the little things.
Shooting
I'm a firm believer that your session or wedding should be enjoyable, not boring. I'll be there to encourage and motivate you throughout your photoshoot. No awkward silences here!
Don't know how to pose? No problem. I'll use my many years of practice and professional education to make sure that you look your best. I understand that everyone moves differently and that some people are more comfortable in front of the camera than others. That's why I tailor my approach to your comfort levels, not anyone else's.
Gallery Delivery
So, you just finished your photoshoot or wedding and now you're excited to see the final images. Me, too!
I'll take the time to look through each individual photo and curate your gallery to best reflect your personal story. You can expect a true-to-life editing style with light colors and gorgeous, creamy skin tones.
Once the gallery is ready, I'll send you a link via email. From there, you can view, download, and print the images as desired. You can also share the gallery link with friends and family, too!
YOU SHOULD KNOW
You deserve a gallery full of images you love
You shouldn't have to pay extra just to view your images, and you shouldn't be forced to buy products at an extreme mark-up (which is why you'll never be required to purchase products or digital images from me).
All sessions and weddings include an online gallery of professionally edited images with printing rights, which means that you'll have the freedom to print your images on your own time, at your desired price point.
Your session should be memorable (for all the right reasons).
Making a client hold an awkward pose for 10 photos just isn't my style. Instead, I'll help you embrace the experience so that you actually–dare I say–enjoy having your photo taken.
Professional education yields professional results.
I have spent years investing an extensive amount of time and money in professional photography education so that you have the best experience and images possible. But I'm not done yet. I'm committed to continuing to expand my knowledge, because there's always more to learn.
Planning is key–but not at your expense.
You deserve to enjoy your special photoshoot or your big day without worrying about whether or not I got the shots you wanted.
Before your session or wedding, I'll create a timeline and a shot list to ensure that I capture all of your most treasured memories, allowing you to live fully in the moment and have fun.
Collaboration is everything.
This is your special moment, so I'm going to make sure that we're on the same page. I like to think of myself as an open book, so feel free to let me know if you have any questions, comments, or feedback. I want to hear it all! Q. Do you donate sessions to nonprofits or fundraisers?
Yes, I love giving back to the community and supporting a good cause! If you or your organization are interested in a donation for a free session, please email me at rachelsakakeenyphotography@gmail.com. Please note that I only donate a limited number of free sessions per year.
Q. Do I have to buy prints or digital images?
No! You will never be required to buy products or digital images from me. All sessions (including weddings) come with full printing rights, so you can print your photos without a huge markup.
Q. What's your typical turnaround time?
I aim to deliver photos (excluding weddings) in 1-3 weeks. Full wedding gallery delivery timeline is usually 1-2 months with an assortment of sneak peeks sent out within 72 hours.
Q. Do you deliver RAW images?
I work really hard to deliver stunning, true-to-life images that make you look your best. Your experience with me includes my unique photography style, which is a result of years of expertise and professional education. Therefore, I don't deliver RAW images.
